Miwa Kanesaki (みわ かねさき)
Immigration Lawyer
Welcome to MADOKA Legal Services Office's website, my name is Miwa Kanesaki.
I have been living in Hong Kong for 10 years and I was working for a Japanese corporation to develop business in mainland China. So what prompted me to back to Japan and become a solicitor?
BECOMING A SOLICITOR
It is not an easy road for Japanese corporations to expand business in mainland China, and I am grateful to be involved in this meaningful work. The process and experience have become my valuable assets.
The lawyer I knew at work gave me a lot of support both in life and work. I realized that being able to help people to start a new life in a new place is priceless, which inspired me to return to Japan and became a solicitor.
I am very grateful and proud that I am a solicitor now. I can help people who are facing difficulties in life and work just like the lawyer who helped me in Hong Kong.
AS A "FOREIGNER"
When I was working in Hong Kong as a "foreigner", I was very fortunate to get help from the lawyer on my visa application. Therefore, I fully understand the worries of being a "foreigner" when they have to go through the same processes.
